Other elements in this image of note are:

  • Other pages - This is not a clickable element in this demo. If in the Total Launcher app, the user would tap the symbol on the side of the page for the direction to view the adjoining page. Swipe will also work.
  • Home Page - It is customary for a setup to have a home page. This is the page which loads when the setup opens or returns to after an action is completed. Tap this icon to set the focused page to home status. The home page can easily be reset by this dialog or by using a launcher action Set Home Page To.

Toby says Whenever on any page at tap on an empty area will result in any selected object(s) becoming de-selected and still allow the launcher to remain in Edit ON mode. Object actions cam not initiated, such as tapping an icon or widget and expecting it to 'open'. The launcher is waiting for the following user interactions:

  1. Exit Edit Mode by tapping Edit On to cause Edit Off and return to the page in normal launcher operating mode.
  2. Select an object by tap-hold to initiate another customization.
  3. Select an object(s) by the Selection icon and tap-drag multiple objects.
  4. Scale-Move an object(s) by the Scaling=Moving icon to relocate, re-size, or Pin object(s) to the page(s).
  5. Set Page Margins to allow for increased or decreased edge boundaries for the page
  6. Add object which could be a Layout, Widget, or Graphic
