⚠️ v4.0 UI Transition Notice - In Process: The release of Total Launcher v4.0 has introduced significant user interface changes. Please note that this page does not yet reflect these updates. The new layout paths, folds, and visual maps are currently being compiled and will be deployed shortly.
Adding an Application Shortcut & Replacing Objects
Page layouts often require object/icons locations to be flexible. The launcher's “Layout” object offers a more rigid format. An Application shortcut offers a flexible location while linking to an application. This procedure demonstrates adding these to the workspace, positioning, and removing unwanted objects to customize the page layout.
Adding the Application Shortcut
- An Application dialog then lists all applications on the device. Scroll through the list or use the search bar to locate the target application.
- The object (shortcut) is placed on the page containing the icon of the selected application.
- Note that the application is placed on the page in a selected state (object boundaries are highlighted).
- Drag the new shortcut to the desired location on the page.
- Optional: Resizing the shortcut object is possible by dragging the handles located on the corners of the bounding box.
